MKOKOTONI PORT (CARGO AND PASSENGER)
Mkokotoni Port was established on 1st November 2003 and located in the north of Zanzibar about 50km from Malindi Port. The opening of the port started from 16th October 2003, by registering various sea vessels which are used by passengers who are visiting or living in Tumbatu Island which is a small Island within Unguja, and also for importing and exporting of goods.
The length of the Jetty Causeway is estimated to be approximately 170m from the land towards the sea, and 6m width, the Jetty Head is estimated to have 18m width, where boats and vessels will be allowed to berth
