ZPC Sets New Record for Dividend Payment to the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar

The Zanzibar Ports Corporation (ZPC) has handed over a dividend of TZS 3.6 billion to the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar (SMZ) through the Office of the Treasury Registrar for the 2025/2026 financial year.

This represents a significant achievement compared to the TZS 850 million dividend paid in the previous year, marking an increase of more than four times.

This achievement demonstrates the results of major improvements in port service delivery, effective resource management, and the strategic investments being undertaken by the Corporation. It also reflects ZPC’s commitment to providing quality services that meet national and international standards, while continuing to play a key role in driving the growth of Zanzibar’s economy.
